Regina Jennings in her new book “Love In The Balance book coverLove In The Balance” published by Bethany House takes us to Texas in 1879.

From the back cover:  Handsome Cowboy or Debonair Tycoon.
How’s a Girl to Choose?

Molly Lovelace dreams of a life without cares in Lockhart, Texas. She also dreams of handsome wrangler Bailey Garner, her ardent but inconsistent beau. The problem is, with Bailey’s poor prospects, she just can’t fit the two dreams together.

Then mysterious stranger Edward Pierrepont sweeps into town–and her life–and for the first time Molly wonders if she’s met the man who can give her everything. But he won’t be in Lockhart long and while it certainly seems like he talks about their glorious future together, she can’t quite get Bailey out of her mind.

What’s a girl to do with all these decisions when love is in the balance?

How do you define security?  Some people, like Molly, at the beginning of the book, will say security is in money.  Life can throw what it wants at you but with money you can afford your way out of trouble.  Others will say stability, like Bailey, a hardworking, honest man who loves Molly.  Life throws all kinds of curves at Molly and she begins to make decisions that will drastically alter her future based on her definition of security.  Ms. Jennings has given us a wonderful romance with a fateful decision that has to be made by Molly over which man she will choose for her husband.  This is a book about family and what is important in life.  Ms. Jennings knows how to create characters that live on the page and that we get to know and love.  Get ready for an exciting read that will keep you flipping pages and keep you emotionally involved.
