Ronald Glanz in his new book “pdq book coverPDQ” published by the author takes us into the lives of  Detectives Schultz and Finney.

From the back cover:  Detectives Schultz and Finney are assigned to a simple convenience store robbery. Armed with a photograph of the perpetrator taken from the security camera, they are sure that the case will be closed in a day or two. Little did they know that it was the beginning of anything that could be called simple?

They get caught in a merry-go-round of elusive suspects, convenient alibis, additional robberies, and multiple murders. Can they solve the case before someone else serves their own form of justice? This surprising murder mystery will hold you from the beginning until the disturbing details of the conclusion.

When I was growing up PDQ meant Pretty Darn Quick but in this case it is referring to a chain of convenience stores that really do exist. Robbery and homicide are what are on the plate for Schultz and Finney. They have an idea of who is the culprit but they cannot prove it. Mr. Glanz has given us a game of cat and mouse as the detectives try to break both suspects iron clad alibis. PDQ is a police investigation that will keep you very interested as you try to figure out just who the real culprit is. I can pretty much guarantee you won’t but it is fun trying. Don’t start this book late at night because you will lose sleep working your way through the evidence.
