George M. Weaver in his new book, “The Significant Life book coverThe Significant Life” published by Crosslink Publishing gives us Overcoming Your Fear of Being Unnoticed and Forgotten.

From the back cover:  Jesus criticized those who “do all their deeds to be noticed by men.” Yet we do the same thing today. A great deal of our activities are born of this desire for attention and the often desperate fear of not being known, appreciated, influential, or remembered. Christianity meets this need in a resounding way. This book contains a lifetime collection of accounts, illustrations, and biblical material that speak to this subject.

Significance. It is something that is a deep desire in the hearts of all men and women. We want to matter. We are not assembly cookie-cutter stamped out we are unique. How can we prove it though? To ourselves and to others? Mr. Weaver has set out to show us how. In three sections: 1) The Apparent insignificance Of The Individual Person, 2) The True Significance Of The Individual Person and 3) The Consequences Of The Significance Of The Individual Person. Mr. Weaver is an attorney so he presents the information as if it were a case and he gives it to us in a straightforward orderly fashion.  Apart from God all our efforts for significance are in vain. However, once we get God involved and our faith is stirred not even death can diminish our significance.  If you have ever felt that you do not matter in life then this is the book for you. What is presented here will have you thinking about it for weeks and it will change your life. I also believe it would make a great gift for family and friends so that it can change their lives as well.
