Anna Thayer in her new book “King's Hand book coverThe King’s Hand” Book Two in The Knight of Eldaran series published by Lion Hudson continues the story of Eamon Goodman.

From the back cover:  Every man has a destiny. His is to betray.

Eamon Goodman is faced with a desperate task. The Master-the usurper who sits enthroned over the River Realm-has threatened to slaughter every man who has ever loyally served Eamon.

To save his men, Eamon must bring the Master the head of the true King’s closest ally. Little does the Master know that Eamon once freely pledged allegiance to the King.

How can Eamon now face the King, who he has willfully betrayed?

And who will pay the price for every broken vow?

I think it takes an incredibly gifted author to create a whole world and fill it with empires and kings. That is exactly what Anna Thayer has done and she has done it spectacularly. Welcome back to The River Realm and the city of Dunthruik where the people need work, food, care and hope. However the Master promotes poverty and crime and punishes without justice. To save his men Eamon is given an impossible task that if he completes it will force him to betray the true King. Intrigue, passion and divided loyalties are just some of what awaits you within these pages. Ms. Thayer has given us a unique action adventure that will keep you on the edge of your chair as you read and flip pages as fast as possible.  I recommend this book highly and look forward to the next book in this series.
