Rachel Hauck in her new book “How to Catch a Prince book coverHow to Catch a Prince” Book Three in The Royal Wedding Series published by Zondervan takes us into the life of Corina Del Rey.

From The Back Cover:  An American heiress and a crown prince seem destined to be together. Will the devastation of war keep them apart forever?

Behind him, beside him, before him, the synchronized cathedral bells began to ring out.

One, two, three . . .

Then she said it first. The words his heart burst to share. “I love you, Stephen. You are my true prince.”

American heiress Corina Del Rey caught her prince once. But the tragedy of war kept her too long in a fog of grief. Now she’s shifting her life forward, reigniting her career as a journalist. Still, nothing can relieve her of the secret and the love she carries in her soul.

Prince Stephen of Brighton is one of the world’s most eligible bachelors and a star rugby player, trying to make sense of his life. His days in Afghanistan with the Royal Air Command will mark him forever. And he can’t shake their dark shadow.

But when his brother, King Nathaniel, confronts him with a document the prince thought long buried and forgotten, Stephen is forced to face the pain of his past and the love he left behind.

With a little heavenly help, Prince Stephen and Corina embark on a journey of truth. But when the secrets are revealed, can they overcome, move forward, and find love again?

Tragedy and war can scar a person and if not dealt with can cause untrue thoughts and cap moving forward. This is part of the problem that has affected Prince Stephen and, in turn, has also affected Corina. Then, all of a sudden, Prince Stephen is forced to collide with the pain and trauma and have to deal with it with Corina. Only God is going to be able to heal these two. In matters of the heart the only Great Healer is God and it is such a delight to read a story that shows us this healing given to us by a master storyteller. Ms. Hauck is able to give us all the details without being “preachy” or overly dramatic. Corina and Prince Stephen are shown with their pain, their faults and their good points. We rally behind them and root and cheer for them to succeed. Ms. Hauck has given us wonderful characters that live and breathe on the pages.  “How to Catch a Prince” is a marvelous story filled with a truly great romance. This book  does not disappoint at all.  I enjoyed it and I am already looking forward to the next book by this wonderful author.
