Juliet David; Illustrated By Jo Parry in their new game, “bible dominoes gameBible Dominoes” published by Candle Books provides us a Bible Dominoes game for age 3+.

From the back cover: This domino game helps children to learn about the Bible and Jesus while playing! It also encourages communication, sharing, counting, and matching skills. The pieces are large and colorful, so they are easy to pick up, and the pictures are clear. The set includes 28 dominoes with a mixture of Bible story characters, numbers, and animals to match, as well as instructions and a story booklet explaining the stories featured on the cards. A useful resource for home, school, or Sunday school.

“The Candle Classic Bible” is arranged in 365 readings that follow a daily format.  The readings are not dated, which means that any days readings can be read whenever you can get to them.  The Bible stories with Scripture references:  Old Testament: From the Story of Creation to Isaac, from Joseph to Ruth, from Job to David, from Elisha to the Prophets.  New Testament: From John the Baptist to the story of Jesus, to the story of the Apostles, to John’s Vision of Heaven.  This a wonderful version of The Bible that It is beautifully illustrated and that our children as well as adults will use constantly.  Not only can we use it but we can give it as gifts to our friends and family.
