Adam Christopher in his book, “elementary book coverElementary: The Ghost Line” Book One in the Elementary series published by Titan Books brings us new adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson.

From the Back Cover: An original novel based on the hit television series

Summons to a bullet-riddled body in a Hell’s Kitchen apartment marks the start of a new case for consulting detectives Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson. The victim is a subway train driver with a hidden stash of money and a strange Colombian connection, but why would someone kill him and leave a fortune behind?

The search for the truth will lead the sleuths deep into the hidden underground tunnels beneath New York City, where answers—and more bodies—may well await them…

This is the first tie-in novel for the hit television series:  “Elementary”. If you are unfamiliar with the show and just picked up the book because of Holmes and Watson you are going to like this book. If you have been watching the show this book reads as if it was another episode, just with a better budget. There has been a murder but, obviously, not for money. Lots of questions, hardly any clues and lots of danger. This is one super exciting book. Mr. Christopher has given us a Sherlock Holmes story very similar to the way Arthur Conan Doyle gave us the stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat, flipping pages as fast as you can read them just trying to keep up with a runaway roller coaster ride story. “Elementary: The Ghost Line” is the perfect read to get your adrenalin going and root for Holmes and Watson to figure out the mystery and bring the guilty party to justice. I liked it a lot and I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
