From the back cover: Come home to Hope Harbor–Where hearts heal…and love blooms.
Tracy Campbell never wanted to leave Hope Harbor, Oregon, or the idyllic three-generation cranberry farm where she grew up. But life–and love–altered her plans. When tragedy strikes and changes her plans yet again, she finds herself back in her hometown with a floundering farm to run and a heartbreaking secret. Romance is not on her agenda. Nor is it on Michael Hunter’s. The visitor from Chicago has daunting secrets of his own. But when Tracy recruits him to help save a struggling charitable organization, the winds of change begin to sweep through Hope Harbor, bringing healing, hope, and love to countless lives–including their own.
Fan favorite Irene Hannon brings a whole new cast of characters to life in a charming Oregon seaside village. Emotional and heartwarming, this story invites readers to come home to Hope Harbor, where love and hope bloom–and hearts heal.
Welcome to the Oregon Coast and to “Hope Harbor”. Let me say upfront that Irene Hannon has given us a terrific read and I do believe you will enjoy it a lot. Tracy is an emotionally wounded person; she has lost her spouse and has come home to save her family’s Cranberry Farm. Michael has also lost his spouse and has come to Oregon to fulfill a promise he made to her. They literally bump into each other and the story takes them from there as they, somehow, have to work together. “Hope Harbor” deals with forgiveness, hope, letting go of old hurts and moving forward with your life. On top of everything there is also the romance. Ms. Hannon is an excellent writer and has given us wonderful characters in Tracy and Michael, and let’s not forget Charley and his wonderful fish tacos, as well as all the other players that live and breathe and that we come to care about as we root for their success.
