Josh Edward, Author, & Emiliano Migliardo, Illustrator, in their new book “Bible Stories Gone Crazy!” published by Lion Hudson gives us Eight Bible stories depicted in bright color and comic, cartoony illustrations.
From the back cover: Did Noah have electric tools and cement mixers? Did the Israelites really have surfboards?
Here’s a bunch of Bible stories illustrated more crazily than you can imagine!
Can you find all the artist’s jokes and deliberate mistakes?
Emiliano Migliardo has illustrated, with his wonderful artwork, eight Bible stories presented by Josh Edward. This was great fun for me so I can only imagine how much more fun it will be for children. Not only are the stories told but there is the added benefit of items that do not belong in the art. Surfboards, Frankfurter Cart, Boy Scouts eating Smore’s around a campfire and in each story. Then in every picture there is Teddy, the teddy bear, that you have to find and sometimes he is in there more than once. The stories are Noah and His Great Ark, Moses Crossing the Red Sea, Joshua and the Fall of Jericho, David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lions, Jonah and the Big Fish, Feeding the 5,000, and Man Through the Roof. This book will provide hours of entertainment and a great way to teach the Bible stories to your children. I recommend this book highly and look forward to more from Mr Edward and Migliardo.
