Ann H. Gabhart in her new book, “Murder Comes By Mail book coverMurder Comes By Mail” Book Two in the A Hidden Springs Mystery series published by Revell gives us another adventure with Michael Keane.

From the Back Cover:   Doing A Good Deed Never Felt So Bad

Deputy Sheriff Michael Keane doesn’t particularly enjoy being touted as the hero of Hidden Springs after pulling a suicidal man back from the edge of the Eagle River bridge in front of dozens of witnesses–a few of whom caught the breathtaking moments with their cameras. But the media hype doesn’t last long as a new story pushes its way into the public consciousness of Hidden Springs’ concerned citizens.

Photos of a dead girl arrive in the mail, and Michael becomes convinced she was murdered by the man he saved. With a killer one step ahead, things in Hidden Springs begin to unravel. Now Michael must protect the people he loves–because the killer could be targeting one of them next.

Readers will love racing along with Deputy Sheriff Keane as the clock ticks in this page-turning mystery.

Welcome back to “Hidden Springs”, a wonderful little town in Kentucky. Deputy Michael feels he has become a media darling and that is the reason for the rise in deaths. Now he has to find out who the murderer really is because his loved ones are going to be targets. Ms. Gabhart has written a wonderful story full of interesting characters that we come to know and love as we read through the book. I had no idea of who the murderer was until this person was revealed. Ms. Gabhart does a great job of making us feel that we are there in “Hidden Springs” and living the events rather than just reading about them. Ms. Gabhart has a real knack for writing mysteries. I am so looking forward to the next mystery with Deputy Michael.
