I had the privilege of interviewing Kaye Dacus, on our radio show “Kingdom Highlights”, for her new book, “Ransome’s Honor”, Book One in her, “Ransome Trilogy” series published by Harvest House Publishers.

Julia Witherington has been madly in love with Lieutenant William Ransome for most of her life and she expects the young Lieutenant to propose to her at the party that night. He does not and by not proposing breaks her heart and she determines never to forgive him.  Now twelve years later Captain Ransome returns home and events transpire to bring them together.  Though they are still in love with each other neither of them knows what to do to fan that flame of love up again.

Then there is the conspiracy of her Aunt Augusta to have Julia wed her son, Sir Drake in an effort to gain her dowry.  This is a wonderful story of false fronts and how they can harm us, unforgiveness and how it can destroy us and love and how it can wash away the old hurts and make us fresh and new with each other.

I recommend this book highly as Ms. Dacus is a great writer and never fails to deliver a wonderful story and great romance.  I am looking forward to book two.
